Changing Attitude Scotland has the following aims:
To enable gay and lesbian couples to get married in Scottish Episcopal Churches.ACHIEVED 8 JUNE 2017
To confirm the ending of the “Scottish Moratorium” by which Bishops never attend same-sex ceremonies, including Civil Partnerships and services of blessing.ACHIEVED 29 NOVEMBER 2013 To ensure in Scotland the ending of the first of the Anglican moratoria which seeks to exclude gay and lesbian clergy in long-term partnerships from consideration for the episcopate.ACHIEVED IN SCOTLAND 8 JUNE 2017
- To establish climate of equal opportunities for all offices within the Scottish Episcopal Church. – BEING MONITORED
- To work for a world in which prejudice against LGBT people is unacceptable in the church and wider society.
